The Promise Race is back! Grab your FAM and join us on April 25 at Virtue Village, the home of Promise686, to help us end the cycle of foster care as we know it!

We will gather as teams and have a great time running for a purpose—to end foster care as we know it. Let's change the trajectory of the lives of vulnerable children and families through the work of Promise686!

Children, strollers, and wheelchairs are welcome, as we will be on paved roads. And yes, if you want to run fast and sweat hard, you can do that too!

The Promise Race raises vital funds for Promise686 to continue its work to end foster care as we know it by providing technology, content, and coaching to churches around the country. Our goal remains to fulfill God’s promise “to set the lonely in families.” By being part of the Promise Race, we are changing the trajectory of the lives of vulnerable children and families through the work of Promise686!

H O W I T W O R K S

Step up to be a FAM Captain and gather your family, co-workers, and friends ... your FAM! As a FAM Captain, you will round up your team ... whether it's the FAMily you live with, your work FAM, or even your book club! FAMily is the key to disrupting the cycle of foster care—so bring your people! 

Each FAM Captain agrees to help raise or give a minimum of $1,200. This could be a group of up to ten people or just one person.

Every racer (team member) is encouraged to raise as much as possible towards that minimum goal of $1,200. Promise will provide you with links, messaging, and everything you and your FAM need to raise money! This is all about ENDING THE CYCLE!

The FAM Captain will be responsible for however much of the $1,200 has not been raised by his/her team on April 26, the day after the race.
