The Promise Race is a mission-focused experience in which runners choose how many cycles (or laps) they will run. Throughout the race, you will experience “disruption zones.” These zones offer simple and fun obstacles which mimic an all-too-real and (sadly) tragic pattern in foster care, where placements are disrupted, and children experience more broken bonds.

The Promise Race raises vital funds for Promise686 to continue its work to end foster care as we know it by providing technology, content, and coaching to churches around the country. Our goal remains to fulfill God’s promise “to set the lonely in families.” By being part of the Promise Race, we are changing the trajectory of the lives of vulnerable children and families through the work of Promise686!
