There are over 400,000 children in the U.S. foster care system, facing life without a safe, loving family.
The pattern of family breakdown often leaves children trapped in a cycle of anxiety, fear, and a sense of being unwanted. As they age out of foster care, many face an increased risk of homelessness, unemployment, incarceration, unplanned pregnancy, and human trafficking.

Through technology, content, and coaching, Promise686 is equipping churches across America to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families in their local communities.
Churches represent the largest and most reliable nationwide network of individuals best positioned to support vulnerable children and families. However, many simply don't know how to take meaningful action.
That’s where Promise comes in by helping churches launch what we call Family Advocacy Ministries (FAMs). We make it simple for people to get involved and to make a lasting impact, transforming the lives of children and families caught in the child welfare system.
The model of Promise686 is designed to unify churches everywhere, ensuring any church, in any community, can effectively intervene and create lasting transformation, rewriting the stories of those stuck in an overburdened child welfare system.
