Saturday, January 27, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday, January 28, 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM
In order to begin Foundations Training, you must have completed Encounter FaithBridge Orientation. FaithBridge Foundations Training is designed to prepare foster parent applicants for the physical, emotional and spiritual demands of caring for foster children. The training covers important topics while helping families examine their hearts to determine if they are called to foster. The training model is broken down into 6 sessions. The first three sessions will be in a small group setting using Biblical principles, prayer, conversation, and tabletop discussions. The next three sessions of training are personalized learning to clarify what is necessary to comply with the requirements of fostering.
